Task
Te Wānanga Whare Tāpere o Takitimu are made up of Te Kōhanga reo, a kura, wharekura, Kahurangi Dance Company and Wānanga. Learners across these learning environments span an age range from babies to kaumatua and kuia – led by strong influential visionaries and knowledge holders. We were tasked with designing a cross-agency report, featuring a tohu design – a rakau (tree), that tells the story of the past, present and future.
Utilising illustration, we took the essence of ‘Waka hourua’ and ‘hei rāronga i te tira’ and weaved these elements throughout the design. This is the driving metaphor for ERO’s leadership vision, strategy and actions.
A three-page centre spread creates a pullout poster of the waka.
We’re a team of creatives – excited about our next project. Seeing is believing, and believing is everything. That’s one reason of many we’re not called beige.
