From the very beginning, Dwight’s core values of quality, innovation, and personalised service have been the driving force behind everything they do, both in-store and online. They are dedicated to providing exceptional camping equipment for all skill levels, ensuring an unforgettable outdoor adventure.

Task

Dwight’s Outdoors was founded in 1979 by the same family that runs the business today. They’re not some johnny-come-lately. This means they know their stuff and they know the challenges. They’re hand-on and customer focussed. As they like to say “We’ve outdoor adventures, just like you”. With the same can-do attitude we worked closely with the Dwight’s team and created a robust brand platform and user-driven website – designed to last.

Made by our family for yours. Dwight’s Outdoors was founded in 1979, by the same family that runs the business today.

Our aim with the visual interface was to maximise ‘the selling of products’ while still giving flavour to the brand expression and reinforce Dwights as a family-oriented and New Zealand focused business. It was through personalising the online experience and proudly telling the Dwights story, that we aimed to differentiate them from the many others that were solely product focused.

Shopify was chosen as the best platform moving forward. It offered pre-built and practical functions making it well suited to house the over 1,500+ products that Dwights had on offer. Design thinking and user testing ensured clear product categories, efficient filtering and easy purchase options for users.
